A great result to kick off the 2026 season
Rinks 1 & 6 had really close games but came out on top to some good bowling in the last few ends
By comparison rinks 3, 4 & 5 had less drama and they would say down to some good bowling throughout the game, and who are we to disagree
Rink 2 had a tough day against some really good opposition especially at the back end with a significant number of ends turned over in the last few woods.

A really professional performance today, even from the losing rinks.
All rinks found the green very diffcult, with very swingy hands and a challenging pace, probably slightly quicker than Rayleigh.
It was so nearly 5-1 to Group 6 with rink 5 just missing out at the very end.
Obviously we are delighted with the overall score difference, this could be very useful next week.
Our destiny is in our own hands next week, we are top of our league with a siginificant shot difference, we just need another solid performance to match the last two games and we will reach the final.
